At the Mongolian Mixed Martial Arts Federation (MMMAF), we are committed to ensuring that children, young people, and adults are protected from harm while participating in MMA. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and it is at the heart of all our activities. We believe that children and young people are the foundation and future of our sport—becoming the next generation of competitors, officials, and administrators.
Our approach to safeguarding follows the best practices set out by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF). We are guided by the IMMAF Safeguarding Guidelines, which outline the policies and procedures necessary to create a safe environment for all involved in MMA. These guidelines are designed to ensure that safeguarding is embedded into all aspects of our programs, from grassroots participation to professional competition.
The IMMAF Safeguarding Guidelines are periodically reviewed, enabling us to continuously improve based on experience and feedback from the MMA community. This commitment to learning and adapting ensures that we remain aligned with international best practices and that the safety and well-being of all participants remain our top priority.
We are dedicated to maintaining a safe and supportive environment where every individual can enjoy and thrive in the sport of MMA.
