2. Approval of Previous Minutes
The minutes from the previous meeting were approved as read.
3. Reports and Key Decisions
- Approval of Budget: The proposed budget for the upcoming year was discussed and approved.
- National Championships Date and Venue: The National Championships will be held from May 15-18, 2024, at the Chingeltei District Sports Arena.
- Referee Commission: Discussion regarding the development and structure of the Referee Commission was held. Further steps will be taken to strengthen the commission and improve referee standards.
- Athlete Commission: Discussions regarding the development of the Athlete Commission were held, with plans to engage athletes more actively in decision-making processes.
- International Championships Participation: Participation in upcoming international championships was discussed, with a focus on the selection process for athletes and the logistics of sending a team. Plans for better preparation and coordination were agreed upon.
- Youth Development Strategy: A new strategy for the development of youth athletes in MMA was presented and discussed. This strategy includes initiatives to identify and nurture young talent, provide training programs, and organize youth-focused events to encourage participation and growth in the sport.
4. New Business
- Plans to Develop the Sport of MMA Regionally in Mongolia: Plans were discussed to expand the reach of MMA in Mongolia by establishing regional training centers, organizing local events, and promoting the sport in various provinces. Efforts will be made to identify potential areas for regional development and support the growth of MMA outside Ulaanbaatar.
5. Closing
The meeting concluded with final remarks from the President, and the next Annual General Meeting date was tentatively set for March 1, 2025.
