The Mongolian Mixed Martial Arts Federation successfully organized two editions of the “Fairtex Cup 2026” MMA competition in January and March 2026, bringing together hundreds of athletes and showcasing the rapid growth of mixed martial arts in Mongolia.

The first event, a Youth MMA Tournament, took place on January 24–25 at the Chingeltei District Sports Complex. More than 200 young athletes from 25 organizations competed across four age categories: 10–11, 12–13, 14–15, and 16–17. The competition highlighted the athletes’ courage, strength, speed, and technical skills.

Distinguished guests at the opening ceremony included the General Secretary of the Mongolian MMA Federation, Mr. Dashdavaa Gantumur, MMA legend and champion of ONE Championship and Legend FC, Honored Athlete of Mongolia Mr. Narantungalag Jadambaa, and Director of Fairtex Mongolia Mr. Batkhüü Ganbold.

Top individual awards were presented to:

  • Best Male Athlete (Youth): Bilguuntei B. (16–17 years, 61.2 kg, Batu Fighters Club)
  • Best Female Athlete (Youth): Buyan-Arvikh G. (10–11 years, -30 kg, Shandas MMA / Team Tungaa)
  • Best Referee: Enkhjin N. (National Referee)

In the team standings, Newgen Team Fighting Center claimed first place, followed by Shiren Beelii Boxing, Kickboxing and MMA Club, and HERO Fighting Club.

The second event, an Open MMA Tournament, was held on March 28–29, both youth and adult divisions. More than 200 athletes from 20 organizations participated, competing for top honors.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Dashdavaa Gantumur and Mr. Batkhüü Ganbold welcomed the athletes and wished them success.

Outstanding athletes of the tournament included:

  • Best Youth Male Athlete: Khash-Erdene E. (14–15 years, -65 kg, Erdene Club)
  • Best Youth Female Athlete: Tserenkhand T. (16–17 years, -65 kg, Three Regions MMA Association)
  • Best Adult Male Athlete: Batzorig U. (-77 kg Champion, One Team & Shiren Beelii)
  • Best Adult Female Athlete: Altanchimeg B. (-60 kg Champion, International Master of Sports, One Team)

In the team results, Nalaikh Team secured first place in the youth division, followed by Desant Bambar Club and Batu Fighters. In the adult division, One Team Fighting Center led the standings, followed by Shiren Beelii Club and HERO Fighting Club.

Additionally, Master of Sport, International Class, Altanchimeg B. won the “I Am an MMA Fighter” reel competition and received a special prize from Fairtex Mongolia.

The champions in the 14–15, 16–17, and adult divisions earned the right to represent Mongolia at the upcoming Asian MMA Championships to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in May 2026.
